Vanessa’s movie, District 9, premiers in the USA on the 14th of August and in South Africa, at the Rosebank Zone, on the 19th of August!

District 9 is a Peter Jackson production (Lord of the Rings) and directed by Neill Blomkamp. This international Sony film is the first Hollywood movie ever made in South Africa that has almost an entirely South African cast and crew!

An extraterrestrial race forced to live in slum-like conditions on Earth suddenly find a kindred spirit in a government agent that is exposed to their biotechnology.
